Connect your first data source

CloudQuell tracks AWS, Snowflake, OpenAI, and Anthropic spend today; Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud are available on request. Snowflake, OpenAI, and Anthropic connect in a few minutes with an account identifier or admin API key — see Connect Snowflake, Connect OpenAI, and Connect Anthropic.

For AWS, CloudQuell reads your billing data through a read-only IAM role. These four steps connect your AWS account — about 15 minutes.

1. Sign up at app.cloudquell.com. Pick a tier (Free starts under $10K/month cloud spend). Verify your email; you land on an empty dashboard ready for your first integration.

2. Create a read-only IAM role in your AWS account. CloudQuell shows you the exact trust policy and inline policy to attach. Copy both into the AWS IAM console — see www.cloudquell.com/security for the full policy text.

3. Enable Cost and Usage Report delivery to S3. If you already have CUR enabled, point us at the S3 bucket. If not, the integration wizard walks you through enabling it. Daily Parquet files are what we read.

4. Paste the role ARN back into CloudQuell. We assume the role using the ExternalId you set in step 2. First analytics appear the same day; CloudQuell backfills up to 12 months of history.
